  • U-P Ford Sandstone

    Formation: U-P Ford Sandstone
    Formation Depth: 6884′
    Prior Production: 22.5 BOPD
    After Stimulation: 45 BOPD
    Sustained: 32 BOPD

An oil well in Los Angeles County, California, was stimulated with the GasGun. The well was a cased hole completion in the U-P Ford formation at approximately 6900 feet. 54 feet of the U-P Ford formation was stimulated with the GasGun. Prior to the stimulation production was 22.5 BOPD & 127.5 BWPD. After the GasGun, the well was immediately able to produce 45 BOPD & 255 BWPD. Two months later the well failed due to sand control problems. After an inner liner and gravel pack was installed, the well was able to meet its AFE target at 32 BOPD and 438 BWPD.

  • U-P Ford Sandstone

    Formation: U-P Ford Sandstone
    Formation Depth: 5700′
    After Stimulation: 37BOPD/633BWPD
    Sustained: 26 BOPD & 524 BWPD

A newly completed well in Los Angeles County, California was stimulated with the GasGun. This well is a cased hole completion in the U-P Ford formation at an approximate depth of 5700 feet. 242 feet of the U-P Ford formation was stimulated with the GasGun. After the GasGun treatment the well was able to immediately produce 37 BOPD and 633 BWPD. After several months the propellant stimulation has been able to keep the well running at 26 BOPD and 525 BWPD.

  • U-P Ford Sandstone

    Formation: U-P Ford Sandstone
    Formation Depth: 9269′
    Prior Injection: 500 BWPD
    After Stimulation: 900 BWPD
    Sustained: 750 BWPD

A well Los Angeles County, California, was stimulated with the GasGun. The well was a cased hole completion in the U-P Ford formation at a depth of 9269′. 60 feet of the U-P Ford formation was stimulated with the GasGun. Prior to the stimulation the well was injecting at a rate of 500 BWPD. After the GasGun, the well injection rates jumped to 900 BWPD. Two months after the stimulation the rates settled at 750 BWPD.
